About Us, Your Publishers
Hi! We're Jaeden & Eden Wakefield, and we're the new Publisher and Assistant Publisher, respectively, for the Ogden-Roy area!
Jaeden is a 20-something soon-to-be first-time mommy, so she's taking some time to ensure that her little bean gets here safe and sound. :) She's also a first-time Publisher! I'm stepping in to assist her in getting the Ogden-Roy territory's website and newsletter up and running, and keep it going strong.
My name is Eden, a 40-something mommy of 5 (including Jaeden!) and I'm definitely not new to writing or publishing at all...
I've been writing since I was old enough to dictate stories to my parents! I began editing in my 20s, and then found my obsession for marketing (be excited, local business owners!) in my 30s.
I also have extensive education in psychology, mindfulness, integrative wellness, and nutrition.
Having Macaroni KID sweep me up for the opportunity to help other parents and families here in the Ogden-Roy area, feels like it was meant to be!
My handsome fiancé (also our Productivity Enforcer & Solutions Specialist, teehee - he's amazing!) Ethan and I have a total of 5 kids between us - 3 mine, 2 his - and they all go back and forth between parents' homes from northern Utah to northern Nevada (Reno-Sparks area.)
With all of these kids, visits, and traveling back and forth, we really count on Weber County to offer us lots of options for local, affordable, whole-family-friendly things to do.
We also worry how much our kids love to be on their screens (can I get a what, what!) so it's our weekly goal to spend as much time outdoors - or at least out and about - as we can. Plus there is so much to explore around here!
