Come celebrate Earth Day at the Ogden Nature Center! Enjoy earth friendly exhibitors, demonstrations, entertainment, food, nature crafts, and fun activities.
Saturday, April 23, 11 am - 4 pm
$4 admission for all ages / Free for 2 and under
Come learn and play at the Ogden Nature Center! This is a big, fun, annual event. Bring your family and friends! Learn what you can do to improve the health of the planet while enjoying our Earth Day Fair. All proceeds benefit the mission of the Ogden Nature Center: to unite people with nature and nurture appreciation and stewardship of the environment.

Workshops and Events
11:00 – Earth Day Poster Awards Ceremony – East classroom of the LS Peery Education Center
11:30 – Puppet Making Workshop – Lobby of the LS Peery Education Center
11:45 – Professional Storytelling and Music – “MarKanDalan” – East classroom of the LS Peery Education Center
12:00 – “The Voice of Conservation: Ogden’s Bernard DeVoto” – Discovery Room of the Visitor Center
12:30 – Nature Poetry Out Loud – Back lawn North of the Visitor Center
1:00 – Composting Tips and Tricks – West Classroom of the LS Peery Education Center
2:00 – Celtic Beat Irish Dancers – Back lawn North of the Visitor Center
3:00 – Composting Tips and Tricks – West classroom of the LS Peery Education Center
3:30 – Prize drawing for those who enter by bringing plastic bags for recycling. There will be a Smith’s drop-off barrel by the admission table. Anyone who brings in 10+ plastic bags will be entered in a prize drawing! The drawing will be held on the back lawn behind the Visitor Center at 3:30 pm.
